The Client
Create a simple idea, a social app where users can see hangouts from their friends happening near them.
The Challenge
Build a map interface that automatically zooms in for a single event pin, yet zooms out for multiple pins, eliminating the need for manual adjustments and maintaining a polished user experience.
The Solution
By dynamically calculating map bounds for all active pins, or focusing on a single coordinate when only one event is present the camera smoothly adjusts its zoom level. Additionally, the code manages location permissions and geocoding gracefully, ensuring a reliable default map view when user location is unavailable.
